Soddisfazioni

Ho appena finito di fare colazione.......aahhh ora mi sento molto meglio, anche se c'è una bambina che si aggira per casa con un bicchiere d'acqua, e furtivamente organizza qualcosa!

Tempo fa, lessi sul sito di Ainsley, il cuoco della BBC, di una competition, insomma, un concorso, bisognava inviare una ricetta che avesse alla sua base il cous cous ed il primo premio era vedere pubblicato sul suo prossimo libro la tua ricetta!! Una soddisfazione pazzesca!!!!

Sono arrivata seconda.......però la mia ricetta verrà pubblicata sul suo sito e anzichè un buono da BEN 5 sterline (la gloria però, quella c'è!!) da spendere da Marks and Spencer, riceverò un suo libro ed una foto autografata!!!
Non sono mai stata una cacciatrice di autografi, neanche a 11 anni, ma di questo ne sono contenta!!

One of my favourite recipe is "Cous cous con peperoni, melanzane,
zucchine e feta":
"Cous cous with aubergine, courgettes, pepper and feta cheese".
It is very very easy, very sunny and meditarranean, like me!
In a large pan put good extra vergin olive oil and some garlic. When
the oil is warm, but not hot, leave the garlic and put the aubergine
and the pepper finely choopped, and let them stew, with some drop of
water , not to make them fry.
After few minutes add the courgette finely chopped (oh yes!) and cook
for about 7/9 minutes, or unitl the vegetable is cooked.
Prepare the cous cous as usuallly Mix all together in a large bowl
and spread a lot oh fresh basil leaves and the feta cheese.
Enjoy!
